This "Celebration of Healing" will offer:
* A weekend of story-telling and music, performed by three-time Grammy winner Bill Miller. Bill is a Native American (Mohegan) role model who has devoted his life to recovery and hopefulness, based on his own experiences with turmoil. He has toured with Tori Amos, Bruce Springsteen, and Pearl Jam. Bill is often called upon to minister to communities that have been affected by violence, and it is extremely rare to be able to spend an entire weekend in his company, including a private concert. His music style is diverse, and ranges from folk, rock, traditional Native American, gospel/praise, and blues.
* Laughter and comraderie, all in the safe, comfortable company of others who understand.
* Spiritual cleansing/purification sweatlodge ceremony administered by a Sundance Priest from the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribe of Oklahoma, for those who wish to participate.
